This Friday and Saturday Penn State comes to Evanston, Illinois, and the Penn State Alumni Association has several events planned that you can be a part of!

Evening of Musical Theatre
See tomorrow’s Broadway stars today at a performance on Friday night (Oct. 30) by some truly outstanding Penn State students from the Musical Theatre Program. The reception and performance at the Hotel Orrington in Evanston will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Central Time) and is $10 for members of the Alumni Association and $20 for non-members. Following the performance, join other Penn Staters, the Pep Band, Penn State cheerleaders, Nittany Lion, and the Greater Chicago Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association at a Friday night alumni mixer. The mixer begins at 8:30 p.m. (Central Time), at Tommy Nevins Pub, 1454 Sherman Ave., in Evanston. Complimentary light appetizers and a cash bar will be available. Penn State Pre-Game Pep Rally
Before the game on Saturday (Oct. 31), get revved up and ready with Penn State alumni and football fans at the pre-game Pep Rally beginning at 12:30 p.m. Look for the tent on the Frank Govern Memorial Golf Course, 1031 Central St. The Penn State Pep Rally program will begin at 1:30 p.m. (Central Time), and will feature the Penn State Pep Band, the Nittany Lion, cheerleaders, and some rallying words from President Graham Spanier and Alumni Association Executive Director Roger Williams.
